The upper is made from Urus leather that has been hand-sanded and then coated /varnished to achieve its final finish.
One of the unique characteristics of this leather is its uneven look and natural colour – some areas of the skin absorb more of the finish than others, which adds depth and visual texture. Because of the coating, the surface also takes a more of a crinkled effect, which is part of its intended character.
