Description
The main fabric of the Mika trainers is made from recycled Polyester from PET bottles. By transforming used plastic bottles into recycled Polyester, Ecoalf reduces the steps in the production process and therefore saves on CO2 emissions. They also give a second life to materials that would otherwise be considered waste. The colours represent the threat of losing the vibrant colours of the coral beds of the oceans as a result of high temperatures and pollution. A pair of trainers to continue taking steps against climate change.
