Description
The iconic MEXICO 66® model was born in 1966 and debuted at the 1968 Olympic games pretrials in Mexico with a premium white leather, stitched with a red and blue ASICS Stripe design. Today, you can still enjoy the classic style but with a new spin for the latest season. The runner has been reawakened and is the most popular shoe in the ONITSUKA TIGER® collection thanks, in part, to the simple and understated design. A low-top silhouette with signature stripes along the side, the heritage pair features heel-cross reinforcement for better stability, and a new look means removing the laces and stitching the tongue to the inside panels of the upper. The side panels and tongue consist of synthetic canvas like fibers, while the toecap and heel consist of an enhanced suede for light weight and low-profile casual purposes.
